Musical entertainment by             Caduceus - The Doctor's Band

Hi there! On the following pages, you will find information about our music as well as information about our musical  activities

About us (Caduceus - the Greek word that has become known as a symbol for medicine.  It features a staff of Hermes entwined by two serpents.  Given the fact our band is composed primarily of medical providers, the name Caduceus was fitting)

Caduceus - The Doctors Band is celebrating "27 years" of performance activities. Composed of physicians and other professionals who play music in the Big Band style as well as other styles of contemporary music.  Formed in 1989 in Springfield, Missouri, Caduceus plays for wedding receptions, private parties and fund raisers.  The music played is original score music and all proceeds from performances are dedicated to nursing and music scholarships.  Caduceus has produced one tape recording and three CD's. Caduceus is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization incorporated in Missouri as Springfield Music Foundation, Inc.

We put on performances regularly. The next dates are just around the corner.  View the Future Performances data and come to one of our performances, we will note if our performance is for a  private function.
